Spa Manager
Experience:
Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
management: 1 year (preferred)
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Overview of Responsibilities:
Able & willing to work full time, 5 days a week, including one weekend day
Spa Manager shifts are scheduled full time within our Guest Services department working alongside the Guest Services team daily. Assigned Spa Manager duties or tasks are accomplished during downtime or with dedicated time for certain projects, tasks or meetings as arranged specifically by/with the location’s General Manager.
Report to location’s General Manager
Oversee daily operations, scheduling and performance of Guest Services and Spa Attendants
Open, close, cash handling, check in, check out, guest hosting and flow at front desk, spa desk, changerooms, throughout spa, lounges etc.
Assist General Manager in meeting settings as needed (interviews, performance, team, mgmt or dept meetings)
Share in responsibility of daily operations, revenue, targets, budget of location.
Help in managing guest relations, complaints, and resolutions.
Help maintain positive company culture and policy and procedures.
Help with training and follow up of new guest service hires and training on new procedures, protocols, campaigns specific to Guest Services function.
Assist location with daily linens ordering procedures.
Help with location shopping, bank runs, tip out procedures if needed/applicable.
Help problem solve situations that may arise with bookings, cash out detail, computer function, communications.
Help oversee effective room and resources allocation daily.
Converse with GM, mgmt and staff effectively and regularly in person, by phone and email.
Represent and be an ambassador of Spa Utopia Health and Wellness Center at events, meetings, conferences, or seminars if applicable.
