Casting call for Twins!
Here are some basic character descriptions:
EZRA (Mid 20’s): Ezra is a lonely and socially awkward scientist. He has trouble expressing his emotions, mainly his love for Ingrid. Orphaned at a young age, his only companions are his inventions. Struggling to find human connection in this alienated world, he makes a Clone of himself to pursue his dream girl.
THE CLONE (Mid 20’s): Although he is exactly the same as Ezra, as the film progresses, he starts to develop a personality of his own. He is much more extroverted and advanced than Ezra. Ironically, he is more human than Ezra.
INGRID (Mid 20’s): Independent and romantic. It may not seem like it, but she’s lonely in her own way. After working 9-5 Monday to Friday she suddenly meets the love of her life, not knowing that he is a science experiment.
This is the story of Ezra, a socially awkward and lonely scientist in his mid-20s. His only source of happiness is his dream girl, Ingrid, who doesn’t even know he exists. He makes a clone of himself and sends it to love Ingrid on his behalf, while he watches through a device and lives his dreams remotely. However, when he realizes the Clone has developed a personality of its own, he is forced to choose between his love and Ingrid’s happiness.
Having twins will elevate the film and make it easier for us to bring our vision to life. This is a voluntary project that prefers non-union actors, but we can make it work if they are union.
